Hyde Park Venture Partners is shaping the Midwest tech ecosystem by investing capital and experience in talented entrepreneurs and breakthrough businesses. But, their former brand and website didn’t align with their position as the leader in Midwest tech venture. The firm’s partners wanted a complete marketing refresh — and fast. With very limited marketing staff and budget, they wanted to bypass the traditional agency model and recruited Creative Quarterback.

Creative Approach


Working alongside HPVP’s Tim Kopp, former CMO of ExactTarget, we began by breathing new life into the brand with an updated logo, color palette, business cards, and social media graphics.

Then, we turned our attention to the firm’s outdated website. From site map to copywriting, photography to web design and development, we created a custom WordPress website that was as innovative and high-tech as the portfolio companies HPVP attracts. Plus, our intuitive editor allowed HPVP’s small (yet mighty) marketing staff to maintain the site post-launch.
