CREATIVE BRIEF

Student Connections helps students overcome barriers to preparing for and completing higher education and achieving success after graduation. It’s a nonprofit division of USA Funds and Indianapolis-based but with a national reach. After their official launch and branding in July 2016, the organization moved into a new office space and wanted to celebrate. Student Connections was referred to CQB by a former client and hired us to organize an open house event for students, parents, business leaders, and other key stakeholders.

THE SOLUTION

CREATIVE APPROACH

We rallied our freelance troops to handle creative event support. We designed a lovely midweek evening cocktail hour complete with food, beverages, flowers, signage, and all specially branded environmental decor. We handled everything from invitations to caterers to name tags—and even sent one of our QBs to facilitate the event—so the Student Connections team could focus on their goal: generating excitement around what they’d been doing and where they were headed.
